Move from a request to a website workflow when a supported browser tool is available.
Public informationUpdated
Use the right tool
Some requests need a public source; others need interaction with a website. The available browser and search tools have different access, session and runtime requirements. Review the browser session or tool results the selected feature provides.
Keep control of access
Use only accounts and content you are authorized to access. Website sign-in, permission prompts and consequential actions follow their applicable authorization controls. A browser task does not remove website rules or access restrictions.
Check the outcome
A page opening is different from a form being submitted, a message being sent or a purchase being completed. Inspect the final page, receipt or item rather than relying only on an AI completion message. See Browser assistance, Security and the Privacy Policy for more detail.
